Louisville Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular

We visited the Louisville Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular and talked to Deputy Parks Director Marty Storch about the event. This event consists of 5,000 carved pumpkins lining a trail through Iroquois Park. There are pumpkins representing different periods of time, as the theme this year is “A Walk in Time”.

The trail is open from dusk until 11 pm during the week, and midnight on the weekends. If you’re in the Louisville area, the Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular is definitely worth the trip. In our video, you can get an idea of what the event is like and see just some of the pumpkins on display.
