Just days after the news of Tom Towles death, it seems that we have received news of another passing in the horror community. Multiple sources have confirmed that actor Geoffrey Lewis has died of natural causes at the age of 79. What makes this news all the more strange is that both Towles and Lewis both appeared in the film The Devil’s Rejects, a movie in which they were most recognized for in the later stages of their careers.
In ‘The Devil’s Rejects’ Lewis played traveling country singer Roy Sullivan, he also appeared in the films Salem’s Lot, The Lawnmower Man, and Trilogy of Terror II. Aside from his roles in horror films over the years, Lewis has over 200 acting credits to his resume including several roles in Clint Eastwood films and numerous television show appearances over a period of six decades. He is also the father of famed actress Juliette Lewis.
